“And to think one of the main Fiber Distribution Hubs for the entire city is in a low-rent Sprawl ‘hood with virtually no security.”

Prepping for an Exploit Zero Mission Critical game, I broke out the ever-reliable Plast-Craft buildings, one of my new 2 x 2 vinyl mats, and some scatter terrain. Chris ‘The Hackmaster’ is slated put a new DAU team through its paces in this dark and desperate district in Daejeon.

DAU Teams
Three miniatures per side, pre-gen combatants with ready-defined weapon and equipment load outs, my usual WYSIWYG ethos is more lax; as long as each miniature is easily recognizable as its respective Agent class – ranged attack Ronin, melee attack Razor, and hacker/medic Specialist – the Rule of Cool wins.
Chris’ team will be a trio of fresh 3D prints. Me, I dug out some old Hasslefree operatives that haven’t seen table time is quite a while.

One of the good things about EZMC is the opportunity to dust off any suitable miniatures and get them stuck in with little to no prep. In the same case with the HF figs were these old metal Kem Var from MERCs. (great concept, fiddly rules, IMO) I suspect they’ll be brawling in the Sprawl very soon too.

Of course, Exploit Zero Mission Critical also provides you the opportunity to kitbash your DAU team with bits and bodies from companies like the most excellent Anvil Industry.
Their Cyberpunk and Sci Fi Gangers sets are enough for multiple custom characters. Pick up a set of each, a copy of EZMC at Wargame Vault, and grab some friends for a kit-bash session. That’s a good afternoon and an inexpensive, easy way to get a playable force for everyone.

That’s the end of the pre-mission brief. AAR on the way. In the meantime, sign up for the S7 Newsletter below. First one is slated for mid-August. Here’s a teaser for what’s on offer:
