With game sessions downshifted to one/month and plans to learn the app-driven Descent Legends of the Dark, I’ve had enough time at the painting desk to slap color on some miniatures.
Bats in the Belfry
First up, a vampire coven. (Because who doesn’t need one of those on hand?)

Vampire Sire, a handful of ferals, and a mob of hybrids. Sire is a 3D print from Etsy. Ferals are a small Steamforged set promoted for DnD 5E, IIRC. The hybrids are plastics from a vampire board game. Actually, one is from the Conan board game, I think. I picked them up on eBay.
Together, they’ll make a nice terrifying scenario someday.

Speaking of 3d Prints
Here’s a selection of fantasy miniatures. A few are Reaper Bones but most are resin prints from various Etsy sellers. Fiddly, brittle, prone to breakage if not handled carefully, it’s not like I don’t have more than enough figures already. It’s just that I see a cool character figure, their ‘story potential’ unfolds in my head like some weird mental origami trick, and next thing I know, they’re on the painting desk.
Here’s the latest.

Quick shout-out for Next Level Miniatures. Made with RPGs in mind more than war games, they have a small but solid range of plastic figs. Nice detail, good character, made with the same durable material as Reaper Bones Black (at least it feels like that) they are very reasonably priced and very easy to paint. Highly recommend.
That’s it for now. Working on a dungeon delve story and a campaign supplement while I wait on Agent Queries. (gotta keep moving, regardless.)
Until next time. Good Hunting.
