Post-Apocalyptic Fantasy

Turning my attention back to fiction – finally – and resuming work on my post-apocalyptic fantasy saga, Shattered Worlds. In it, a half-breed survivor journeys through the aftermath of a war between gods that ruined not just kingdoms and continents, but entire planes of existence. Think Lord of the Rings meets The Road, and you’re in the right neighborhood.

It’s been a long time coming but I’m nearing the end of the latest revision. I plan to hire an editor in March, get it presentable, and kick it out the door. Parts One and Two will be released in a single volume, in print and for Kindle. Release date depends on the editor’s diagnosis, but I’m hoping for late Q2, 2024.

So if anyone can recommend a solid, professional editor for spec-fiction, lmk. Thanks.

Zona Alfa-Kontraband

A recent poll over at the most excellent Stalker7 Facebook Group requested more content for ZA/K, so I’ve started work on a campaign supplement titled Location 39.

Clues from a dead stalker’s PDA, rumors of an abandoned military base, a vault filled with gold and old Soviet secrets? Sounds like the perfect excuse for a Deep Zone Run. This supplement will contain five linked missions for narrative, co-op gaming, and feature example table layouts, a custom weapon or two, a special pre-gen character for the Zone, as well as optional rules for automated defenses, stealth, zombified enemies, and psychic powers. The illustrator has the brief, so it’s “coming soon.” (when I know, you’ll know.)

Saturday Sessions Continue

Two Saturdays a month now. One group is trying to rescue the kingdom’s heir and fighting their way out from under a mountain, while the second pursue thieves of a dangerous artifact into the vast sand sea in the land of Harab. Full battle reports as the action unfolds.
