Blood Trails in the Rubble

More photos from recent game night. Matt brought a friend, so we used our simple Cleared To Engage home-brew rules and kept the mission a straight-up brawl: two teams recovery teams battling through urban ruins for a crashed VTOL’s black box.

Heresy troopers and an old VOID grav bike formed the NorAm team while MERCS KemVar (and another I-Kore grav-bike) acted as a hostile rapid reaction force. The NorAm crew advanced strong and seized the objective. The stunningly poor KV dice rolls made the evening humorous, and more important, the newcomer had fun. He said he’ll be back, so it’s worth the humiliation.

Here’s some shots taken the morning after. And a couple of a Hansa Nairobi model from Warlord Games’ “Gates of Antares” range. Have two of those models now. This one will be leading a squad of Concord soldiers to make a generic skirmish force.

You think an assassin AND a grenadier could take out one lousy flamethrower specialist, but Nooooooo

Great miniature. Wish I had a squad of similar cyber-enhanced troopers.
