Managed to get paint on a few miniatures and some scatter terrain. All fantasy stuff. I love the detail and dynamic of resin printed miniatures but I’m unconvinced they’re suitable for everyday handling in games. I keep buying ’em tho.

But for terrain… I’m definitely sold. Big fan. Scatter pieces for now. I’ve got some gorgeous, larger pieces primed and in the queue.

3D printed Barbarian and Elven stair statue place, thing, shrine, memorial…
Woodland rune stone with crystals and a plastic Zombicide wizard.

I’m slated to run a one shot game for several people who have never played any kind of RPG or tabletop wargame before. I’ll be sure to dress up the table in high style, and for miniatures, you can’t beat Reaper Bones or CMON plastics. They can take a beating. They’re durable, have good detail and character, and can be found relatively cheap on eBay either in lots, or singles.

L->R: Privateer Press metal fig, treasure pile from assorted bits, and a 3D printed paladin type.

Paladin with Two-Hand Warhammer is a traditional build and that’s a great miniature. Problem is I can see that hammer on the right snapping with one careless move. I know there’s super glue, but still… That one-piece metal troll with ax is rock solid.

That’s it for now.
