Cheeki Breeki at Woodpecker 4.

Managed to get in a quick game the other night. Pressed for time, we used fast-play house rules and slugged it out STALKER-style in an old military base in the Zone. Both teams advanced on the flanks, popping smoke, vying for good angles. Mongo and the Ursa went toe-to-toe – again. (Mongo for the KO) Came down to the wire with the Stalkers carrying the day – barely. Sorry no real Bat Rep. Here are some in-game/post-game shots.

  1. Man, this looks great! I like your battlefield surface…is it a rug or piece of carpet? It looks like a cross between asphalt & concrete on the battlefield.

    1. Thanks.

The mat is a piece of heavy upholstery fabric, green and black checkered actually.

  2. Very nice indeed. Your modelwork is all around lovely.

    1. Thanks much. I’d have gone with Pulp Alley, but it had been too long and we were fuzzy on the rules.

  3. Awesome work! What ruleset are you using? I recently picked up the new Judge Dredd set, and the older and more venerable Combat Zone. Wonderful looking models as well, all around Bravo!

    1. Thanks. Glad you enjoy it. Rules are a streamline generic set using d10s. Nothing major. Haven’t picked up any Dredd stuff but checked out CZ a while back.
